About CareerExpert

CareerExpert has coordinated and facilitated group seminars throughout the southwest United States regarding a variety of career related topics.  From 1999-2000, he served as a Program Manager and Job Developer for Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc (CPLC) in Phoenix, Arizona.  CPLC is the largest Latino-based community development corporation in the country offering education, small business, neighborhood development, career / job placement, and social services. As a Program Manager and Job Developer, CareerExpert counseled job seekers representing diverse populations. CareerExpert honed his workforce development skills while working with ex-felons, TANF recipients, displaced workers, monolingual Spanish-speakers, mid-career professionals and executives.

In 2000 he was part of the grant-writing team that sought funds for Goodwill Industries of Central Arizona to administer the Welfare-to-Work Program. He applied his political savvy and experience to lobby key members of the Arizona Legislature to secure additional training and supportive funds for program participants. CareerExpert played a key role in the development of effective job readiness curriculum. CareerExpert was also selected to serve as an internal staff trainer for the organization. His hard work and dedication led to the achievement of placement goals for Welfare-to-Work and special needs populations.

In 2003, CareerExpert entered the private sector and began his own career marketing and development firm. He quickly led his firm towards becoming one of the top résumé writing services in El Paso and Phoenix, and one of the leading career marketing and development firms in the United States. His firm, My Résumé Experts.com is a complete career development firm, offering a wide-range of cutting-edge products and services.

In 2004, CareerExpert joined the Upper Rio Grande and served as a Career Counselor and Job Developer for the Food Stamp Employment & Training Program and the Non-Custodial Parent Employment Program.
